Welcome Call Script

Hi, this is “_______” with Sunergy. 

Sales rep will usually say “Hi Brian, this is (sales rep name), I am here with (customer name), I just need to do a welcome call. You can say

Great, I’m ready for the customer.

Hello “________”, this is “_______” with Sunergy on a recorded line, how are you doing today? 

I will be helping you verify some information. First off, can you tell me your full name? 

Can you also verify the address where your solar system will be installed? 

Then, I’ll need your date of birth and the last 4 digits of your social security number?

Great!

Question 1

Have you had the opportunity to look over your install agreement and has your sales rep reviewed that with you?

(CORRECT ANSWER: YES) - Move on to question #2

(INCORRECT ANSWER: NO) “Okay, no problem! Thanks for letting me know, can you please pass the phone back to your sales rep?” 

(When talking to the sales rep: “hello again, I was not able to pass off your customer for the welcome call, can you go over the welcome call info with them and do another welcome call?”)

Question 2

Has your sales rep promised you anything that is not listed on your install agreement? 

(CORRECT ANSWER: NO) - Move on to question #3

(INCORRECT ANSWER: YES)  “Okay, no problem! Thanks for letting me know, can you please pass the phone back to your sales rep?” 

(When talking to the sales rep: “hello again, I was not able to pass off your customer for the welcome call, can you go over the welcome call info with them and do another welcome call?”)

Question 3

If you plan on utilizing the solar tax credit for your solar installation, we do want to make sure that you are aware that the credit, and the amount you may receive for that credit, will be dependent on your tax situation. Does the tax credit make sense? 

(CORRECT ANSWER: YES)

(INCORRECT ANSWER: NO)  “Okay, no problem! Thanks for letting me know, can you please pass the phone back to your sales rep?”

Okay great! Last question, do you have a homeowners association where you live?

(ANSWER: YES) Can I get your HOA contact information (name, phone, email)? I will have our HOA specialist work with you on getting your HOA submitted for approval.
